This will be our last season in youth football. We have roughly the same squad, new signings being James Greive, Rob Driver and Gary Sims.
It has been a mixed start to the season. We lost the first league game away to Shoebury Boys 5-1. Brett Smith scored our goal. We lost our second league match, at home to Herongate 1-0 although the performance was markedly better having hit the bar 3 times and having one saved off the line.
Our next game was a Pelly Cup game at home to Seven Kings Wanderers. We won 3-1. Dave Sims scored our first with a penalty after James Greive was fouled in the box. Rob Driver scored our second from open play and Danny Patterson scored from a direct free kick.
A good all round performance.
In Round 2, we travel to Clacton Town
